naturestrip has three funded opportunities in 2015 includes:

naturestrip Artist Grant

Is a two stage process that is detailed below.

As a general guideline we make offers bi-annually. The next invitation will be late 2018. In some instances we may fund small projects that have a critical time element.

Stage One
Australian artists are invited to submit proposals of up to 250 words for funding for a project that engages with the nature of Sound.Initial Submission Material
Artists should submit an outline of their project including;
A short description of Project (250 words);
An estimated Project Cost;
A one page CV;
Samples or support material (if relevant).
We will consider projects requiring a budget of $500 up to $5,000 plus GST.

Stage Two
If your initial submission is successful we will be in touch with you to fully scope the requirements. As we are a small privately run organisation, we may not be able to support all proposals but we will do our best. We are currently working on new networks to support artists in novel ways, so stay tuned.

  • Accepted file types: mp3, mp4flac, aif, wav, pdf, jpg, jpeg.

Commissioned Work

naturestrip is excited to be co-commissioning  an original work to be part of Liquid Architecture’s ongoing calendar of events. This ongoing program will support artists and musicians who critically engage with questions of nature through the prism of sound and listening.
